Beautify the Block | 9 AM - 12 PM

Lend us a hand and help beautify our rental properties! We'll be tackling some landscaping and other beautification efforts to spruce up some of our affordable rentals. Register here.

Southeast Scavenger Hunt | All-day

Put on your walking shoes and thinking caps as we take you on a scavenger hunt throughout Southeast Indy! Clues for each location will be shared on our socials and the individual who visits the most locations will win a prize pack featuring awesome gifts from local Southeast side businesses. Affordable Housing Panel | 11 AM - 1 PM

The topic of SEND's housing panel will be “missing middle” housing and include a discussion of the challenges, success stories, and demand for more variation in house-types. Our panelists, drawn from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors will provide a unique perspective on the missing middle developments that have been built in Indianapolis and beyond. We hope this conversation will spread awareness of the need for more missing middle housing and spur conversations on how existing barriers can be eliminated. Lunch will be provided to those registered in person. This event will be live-streamed via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Register here.

Happy Hour at the Plaza | 5 PM - 7 PM

Come join SEND staff, board members, and neighbors as we celebrate the annual turning on of the fountains with music, food, and drink! All donations received during this event will go directly to support the Fountain Fund and keep the water flowing all summer long. Register here. Register here.

Southeast Public Art Tour | 3 PM - 5 PM

Join us for a guided tour of Indy's Southeast side to learn about SEND's work supporting various public art projects. Our tour bus will pick up individuals at the SEND main offices (3230 Southeastern) and then wind around a variety of key public art projects SEND has supported. Register here.

Small Business Pitch Night | 6:30 - 8 PM

Cheer on Indianapolis entrepreneurs as they pitch their business ideas for a chance to win up to $3,000 in seed money! Eight businesses from the LISC Microenterprise Navigator Program located at Martindale Brightwood CDC and SEND will showcase their business or startup for a chance to win up to $3,000. Register here.
